Itinerary of the tour Mountain of 7 Colors + Machu Picchu 2 days

This is the itinerary

Day 1

On day 1, the tour begins with the visitor being picked up from the door of their hotel in the city of Cusco at approximately 5 in the morning.
The visitor and the rest of the tourists (group service) board a tourist minivan for a 2-hour trip to the town of Cusipata. There, they stop to enjoy a buffet breakfast (coffee, jams, butter, pancakes, eggs, fruit, juices, breads, tequeños, infusions and more).
After breakfast, we make another 1 hour and 30 minute trip to the Phulawasipata campsite. There, the group gets ready to begin the hike to Vinicunca.
The Vinicunca hiking route is 3 kilometers long. On average, a tourist completes it in almost 2 hours. Optionally, you can hire a horse ride with a local resident. This service is not included in the tour and costs 60 soles on average.
Once at Vinicunca, tourists will have time to enjoy this beautiful landscape. The guide will give them the necessary explanations and, at the same time, will help them to take their best photographs.
The way back is by the same route as the outward journey. The path is easier as it is mostly downhill. Once in Phulawasipata, the trip is made by minivan back to the village of Cusipata.
In Cusipata, a buffet lunch is served in a tourist restaurant. Lunch is varied and includes hot soups, rice, pasta, stews, chicken, beef, fish, alpaca meat, tequeños, eggs, salads, as well as hot infusions.
Finally, the return trip is made to the city of Cusco where the tour ends at the door of your hotel at 5 in the afternoon.

Day 2

On day 2, tourists will be picked up from their hotel door between 4:45 am and 5 am. Visitors will board a minivan that will take them to the Wánchaq station in the city of Cusco in a very short trip.
Aboard the Peru Rail Bimodal bus we will make a trip of almost 2 hours to the Ollantaytambo train station in the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
In Ollantaytambo, visitors will have time to use the toilets or buy snacks and drinks. They will then board the Peru Rail Expedition tourist train for the nearly 2-hour trip to the town of Aguas Calientes (also known as Machu Picchu town).
In Aguas Calientes, tourists will be greeted by an assistant who will take them a few meters on foot to the bus station. There, after waiting in line for 5 to 15 minutes, they will board the Consettur bus, which takes a 30-minute trip uphill to the entrance gate to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu.
In Machu Picchu, visitors will take a tour of the archaeological site through circuit 2. The tour is accompanied by a professional tour guide. The route takes them to the Casa del Guardián (Guardian’s House) sector, which allows them to get the classic photo of Machu Picchu.
The route in Machu Picchu continues with a visit to the most important Inca buildings, such as: the Temple of the Sun, the Main Temple, the Temple of the 3 Windows, the Sacred Rock, the Water Mirrors, the Sacred Fountains and more. After a 2 hour and 30 minute tour of Machu Picchu, you will head back to the exit road.
At the Machu Picchu exit gate, you will board the Consettur tourist bus again for the return trip to the town of Aguas Calientes (30 minutes). If you have booked the optional buffet lunch, you will stay a little longer at the Tinkuy restaurant, in the 5-star Sanctuary Lodge hotel (the only one located next to the archaeological site).
In Aguas Calientes, visitors can stroll freely or have lunch in one of the many good quality tourist restaurants in this town.
Then we board the Expedition tourist train that will take us in almost 2 hours to the Ollantaytambo station. There we board the Peru Rail Bimodal tourist bus again for the final trip of almost 2 hours to the city of Cusco.
The tour ends with the transfer of the tourist to the door of their hotel at 9 pm on average.
